Student Content Teaching Inventory on the Nurse Teachers


Abstract
This inventory concerns the nurse teacher¢¥s feelings about the teaching practices. The purpose of this study was to provide the nurse teachers with meaningful information about teaching strategy as a teacher.
The data was collected among 98 nurse teachers in Korea in June, 1978. The results obtained were as follows.
1. The mean student oriented score (S-score) of the¢¥¡Æ nurse teachers was 11.8 and the content oriented score (C-score) was 14.0.
2. The higher S-C score was indicated in the nurse teachers of the junior Nursing College than the nurse teachers of Nursing College or Department of Nursing in College of Medicine.
3. In the S-C score by the teaching experience, the S-score of the nurse teachers who has. under 1 year experience was the highest, while the more the experiences, the higher the C-score was indicated.
4. The S-score of the nurse teachers who had graduated the graduate school was higher than that of the nurse teachers who had graduated the College or Junior College, while the C-score of the nurse teachers who had graduated junior College was highest.
5. In the S-C score by the age, the highest S-C score indicated in the nurse teachers who were 30-39 years old and the lowest S-C score indicated in 4049 years old.
